Bridgnorth-based Genvolt offers opportunities for an Advanced Administrative Apprentice and an Advanced Engineering Apprentice as part of its growth plans.
The company specializes in the design and manufacture of high voltage power supplies for defense, medical, manufacturing, testing and laboratory use, to name a few.
Wendy Cox, Genvolt office manager, said: âGenvolt does more than manufacture and supply high voltage power supplies around the world.
âAs a company, we are looking for people who can grow, think and explore potential. Our culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding the imagination. Genvolt is a growing company looking for members of its team to grow with it.
“As a company, we offer a relaxed work environment, a diverse and inclusive culture, and an electric atmosphere for professional development.”
The Administrative Apprentice will gain experience in all areas of business including finance, purchasing, shipping, general administration and sales.
Wendy said: “Someone with a technical mind would be ideal, but realistically we just need a bright spark, with great communication, organization and a desire to learn.”
The apprentice engineer will gain experience in mechanical fabrication, electrical and electronic assembly and testing. It might be possible to move forward with the design, Wendy added.
Amanda Carpenter, Project Manager for Scale for Shropshire, said: âIt’s great to be able to offer such quality opportunities. We are delighted to be working with Genvolt and encourage young people to apply by contacting training provider InComm at LeighanneO@in-comm.co.uk. “
