Chicago Scenic Studios names theme park industry veteran to lead Florida operations

CHICAGO–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Leading Creator of Unique, Engaging, and Crowd-Friendly Experiences – Chicago Scenic Studios – Has Appointed Jason Ohlsen, a Seasoned Theme Park Industry Insider, to Head the Company’s Florida Office .

Ohlsen joins Chicago Scenic with over 20 years of experience leading projects and leading the design of theme parks, aquariums, museums and other attractions.

“We are delighted to have Jason on board and onsite in Florida, where he has helped manage the development, manufacture and installation of show and exhibit set elements for some of the world’s largest theme parks. and world attractions, ”said Blasko Ristic, president of Chicago Scenic Studios. “We are building on Chicago Scenic’s deep experience in the theme park industry – which is growing and targeting pre-pandemic visitor traffic. Prior to Chicago Scenic, Jason held project management positions for Themeworks, Inc. and The Companies of Nassal. He was one of the teams that won a THEA 2020 Award for Outstanding Achievement for a Project at the St. Louis Aquarium and a THEA 2018 Award for Outstanding Achievement for a Project at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Chicago Scenic executives will be attending the next annual conference of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) November 15-18 in Orlando, Florida.
