Fairfield launches new bourbon event with blues guitarist Dudley Taft

The theater will be set up cabaret-style, with four-person tables in about half of the theater and fixed stadium seating in the other half. Tickets for the concert are available online and are $34 for cafe-style seats and $32 for stadium-style seats. All ticket holders will receive complimentary appetizers, plus glasses of bourbon and beer.

The series will include a selection of bourbon and cocktails from a distillery and craft beers from a local brewery at a cash bar. The bourbon featured on Friday is from Woodford Reserve Distillery, and the craft beer will be Fretboard.

“The idea is to go out and partner with distilleries and breweries to showcase them at this event, instead of just having a supply of lots of different items,” Hauslein said.

Friday’s concert tends to draw large crowds ― possibly sold out ― and the reconfigured theater will not hold its normal capacity of more than 230 people. Hauslein said it will still hold more than 200 and tables should sell out soon.

Doors and the cash bar open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online at bit.ly/BBB_Dudley_Taft or via the box office at 513-867-5348.
