Mobile robot maker SEER secures Round-B funding

Mobile robot maker SEER announced on Monday he received hundreds of millions of yuan in round B funding, led by SAIF Partners, IDG Capital and Broadstream Capital. Scheme Capital serves as the exclusive financial advisor. Funds should be allocated to invest in the research and development of smart manufacturing products, promote the scale of more scenarios, and vigorously explore overseas business channels.

As a mobile robot manufacturer, SEER provides one-stop smart logistics solutions for companies in industrial logistics scenarios. It has received round A funding from several strategic investors such as GLP Hidden Hill Capital, ECOVACS, China Growth Capital, Harmontronics and Silicon Valley Huiyin.

Zhao Yue, Founder and CEO of SEER, has won the RoboCup multiple times with his team. The company’s core team members are graduates of Zhejiang University and Tongji University, all of which have rich technical experience in the field of robotics.

The SRC series basic controller is one of SEER’s main products, with basic functions such as map making, positioning and navigation, and model editing for mobile robots.

The SRC series stands out for its great adaptability. SRC-2000 controllers can match most accessories in the market such as lidar, servos and sensors. Besides mobile robots, the SRC-800 series can control smart factory infrastructure such as automatic loading piles, automatic doors, elevators, traffic lights, RGVs, hoists and stackers.

SEER prioritizes the development of digital systems software. Its main products are RDS unified resource planning system, MWMS warehousing and logistics management systems, RoboView visual AI solutions and Meta-V digital visualization system.

The RDS Unified Resource Scheduling System provides users with a low-code workflow engine, defines robot or equipment tasks in a low-code form, and displays task flows graphically.

RoboView is a visual AI solution designed to add new perspectives to mobile robots by adding cameras to the factory. Based on machine vision algorithms, it quickly forms an easy-to-deploy visual algorithm workflow and solves real-world problems, and offers a visual AI solution covering production, safety and management, thus realizing vehicle-factory collaboration.
